Brandi is a long style with extra-long layers cut to fall around the face and carry on down past the shoulders. The hair is straight and comes ready to wear, so it needs nothing doing to it out of the box.

The cap is a double monofilament. Two fine mesh layers sit across the whole top of the head with the hair knotted in by hand, and that does two things for you. The parting can go wherever you want to put it, and the mesh reads as scalp rather than as a seam when someone is looking at you in daylight. The second layer is there to soften everything that touches your skin, which matters if your scalp is tender or bare.

One thing to be clear about: Brandi does not have a lace front. The hairline is finished with polyurethane tape tabs instead. Those hold the front securely and give you somewhere to attach tape or a grip if you want more hold, but they are not the same as an exposed, skin-like lace hairline. If that is what you are after, there are Amore styles built with lace fronts that will suit you better than this one.

There are adjustable tabs at the nape so you can bring the fit in or let it out. At 5.6 oz Brandi is a substantial wig, which is simply what this much length weighs, and worth knowing if you are used to something shorter. Rene of Paris does not list Brandi among its heat friendly styles, so treat it as a standard synthetic and keep dryers and irons well away from it.
