Stevie Wig by Amore
Stevie is a long style, 18 inches at the nape, cut in flowing layers that carry down from the fringe to the ends. The hair is straight and comes ready to wear.
There is a fringe cut in. If your own hairline has thinned or gone, that fringe covers the front of the cap, so there is no hairline to get right in the mirror each morning. It pairs well with this much length, giving you the long look at the back without exposing the front of the cap.
The cap is a double monofilament. Two layers of fine mesh run across the top with the hair knotted in by hand, so the parting sits wherever you put it and the mesh reads as scalp rather than as a hard seam. The second layer softens the surface that rests against your skin, which matters on a tender or bare scalp. The sides and back are machine wefted, which keeps the weight manageable and lets air move through.
Please note: Stevie does not have a lace front. The front of the cap is finished with polyurethane tape tabs. They hold well and give you somewhere to put tape or a grip, but they are not an exposed lace hairline. The fringe sits over the front, so this is less on show than it would be on a style worn back off the face.
Adjustable tabs at the nape let you bring the fit in or let it out. At 5.2 oz Stevie is a substantial wig, which is simply what this much length weighs. Rene of Paris does not list Stevie among its heat friendly styles, so treat it as a standard synthetic and keep dryers and irons away from it.
