Emy is a short angled bob. The back is cut close at 2.4 inches, and the length increases towards the front where it reaches nearly 8 inches, so the shape sits short behind and longer at the jaw. Volume can be built into the crown if you want a fuller shape through the top.

Emy has a lace front, which sets it apart from most of this part of the Amore range. Rene of Paris build it with what they call a minimal lace hairline, meaning a fine strip of lace across the front with the hair knotted in individually rather than sewn to a band. The practical difference is that you can wear it back off the face and the hairline still reads as skin. On the styles finished with tape tabs instead, that is not really an option.

Behind the lace front the cap is a double monofilament. Rene of Paris does not list Emy among its heat friendly styles, so treat it as a standard synthetic and keep dryers and irons away from it.
